Answering Your Questions about Magnolia Medical Group Programs and Services

WHAT ARE OPIOIDS?
The medications oxycodone, hydrocodone, and fentanyl (most often recognized by brand names such as Vicodin®, Percocet®, OxyContin® and Actiq®) are opioid-based painkillers. Opioid dependence and opioid addiction is a public health concern resulting from a dependence on these medications and other drugs such as heroin.

If you or someone you know is addicted to heroin or opiate-based painkillers, or struggles with physiological or psychological dependence associated with these class of drugs, there is no reason to feel stigmatized or embarrassed.

You can contact us for a confidential medical evaluation. We are a physician led practice, that follows the gold-standard of care, medication-assisted treatment combined with addiction counseling, following the harm reduction model of care. We can often get you in to see a medical provider within 48 hours or less (often within 24 hours), and can begin treatment immediately.
HOW LONG WILL MY TREATMENT PROGRAM TAKE?
It depends. If you can stay off opioids and regularly attend your appointments, you will finish sooner than patients that start/stop the program. Ask your doctor during your appointment what is the quickest way to complete your opioid addiction treatment program.
