Peer Support Group
We offer weekly peer support groups (currently virtual) for patients and families of Magnolia Medical Group. Peer Support Groups are comprised of individuals who share a common condition or circumstance.
This group is focused on providing mentoring, emotional and social support, information, education, and practical help to each other. This group meets specifically to provide support for individuals who are both new and old to recovery and want a confidential, positive, encouraging environment to discuss their sobriety.
Check out our flyer below for more details on our virtual meetings.
CRAFT Support Group
CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) focuses on the family member/loved one, not the person with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), by teaching how to do the following:
- Take care of themselves.
- Eliminate unintentional helping behaviors that may promote use.
- Replace negative behaviors with new positive ways to communicate and solve problems.
- The importance of timing when approaching the substance user. Click here to read more.
